    Insuring your Event

    The Park Board requires a $1 million General Liability Insurance certificate for all events and a $1 million Liquor Liability Insurance certificate for events when alcohol is served. You may apply for event insurance through the City of Springfield TULIP program. To apply, please follow the link above.

    1. I understand that this application requires a $250 fee.
    2. I understand I must provide a General Liability Insurance certificate and Liquor Liability Insurance certificate, each in the amount of $1 million for my event.
    3. I understand I must book security through the Park Board with a desired Guest/Officer ratio of 50:1. Larger rentals will require additional security.
    4. I understand if I cancel my event 30 or more days before the event date, the Park Board will provide a 50% refund of all fees paid.
    5. I understand if I cancel my event within 30 days of the event date, no refunds will be made.
    6. I understand that alcohol may only be served by my licensed caterer and that no members of my party may serve or consume their own alcohol.
    7. I understand this application is a request not a confirmed booking. A facility manager will contact me when my application is approved or denied.
