Queen City Garden

Springfield earned the nickname “Queen City” as a major hub of culture and commerce in the Ozarks. Our Queen City Garden is a major hub of ornamental flowers and the wildlife it attracts through the seasons. The Queen City garden is a beacon of color and excitement for most of the year. It is surrounded by our herbaceous collections- each having a very small bloom window: Peonies & Iris blooming in May; Lilies and Daylilies blooming in June – July and Ornamental Grasses in September. With community investment, we hope to improve accessibility, expand color in all seasons and provide gathering spaces to celebrate the beauty of the Ozarks.
