Is Your Child Ready for Sports? Start Smart is a six-week instructional program that helps parents work one-on-one with their child while teaching them the basics of Baseball or Softball: throwing, catching, fielding and batting. The program helps prepare children for organized youth sports by using safe and fun equipment to teach them the basic motor skills needed to compete. View flyer.
Spring and fall leagues held at the Betty and Bobby Allison Miracle League Ball Field in Dan Kinney Park. Seven-week leagues for youth and adults with disabilities. Scholarships may be available. Volunteer coaches and buddies are needed, training is provided! Details at parkboard.org/miracle.
