Celebrate Mom at the Zoo

Celebrate Mother's Day, Sunday, May 11, at Dickerson Park Zoo. All mothers receive free zoo admission that day, and the first 300 mothers also receive a bedding plants from Nixa Hardware. Signs throughout the zoo will congratulate animal mothers from the past year. FOZ-member moms will receive a 20-percent discount on home décor and jewelry in the Safari Trading Company gift shop.

Surprise your mom with her favorite animal. Mother's Day adoption packages are available, supporting the zoo's conservation efforts. Adoption packages begin at $30 and include a personalized adoption certificate, a color photograph, two one-day admission passes to Dickerson Park Zoo and a free subscription to the WildTimes magazine.
