SENIOR PROGRAMS

Open Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. to individuals 55 and over. The center offers Arts and Crafts, Pool Room, Fitness Room, Hospitality Room with Library and Book Exchange.

Programs include bingo, writing classes, discussion groups, health screenings and information/education seminars, painting, ceramics, sing-a-longs, dance lessons and evening dances, live bands and jam sessions, and Young at Heart Choir. Southwest Missouri Office on Aging (SWMOA) offers lunch Monday-Friday (except holidays). The Northview Center is available to rent for meetings or special events.

The Northview Center offer programs for persons with disabilities, encouraging participation be everyone in all activities. In many cases, inclusive recreation allows for the individuals to participate in other programs offered by the Park Board.

The Southwest Missouri Office on Aging (SWMOA) provides a hot meal each weekday at 11:30am. There is a suggested donation of $2.75 for ages 60 and older. Younger guests are required to pay $5.00. SWMOA also offers and helps coordinate other programs to help senior citizens live healthy, full lives. For more information about SWMOA, please call 417-864-8606.

FACILITY RENTALS
The Northview Center is an outstanding facility for your group meeting, special event, wedding reception, or other need you may have for small, medium or large groups. A fully equipped kitchen is also available. Rentals may be scheduled up to one year in advance. Call the Northview Center office at 417-837-5808 for more information and current rental charges.
