The 20 acre pastureland at the Equestrian Center is being renovated to demonstrate best practices in creating a managed intensive grazing setting for horses. The pastures will developed following a specific process which will be environmentally sound — reducing erosion, excessive nutrient and sediment additions to the South Dry Sac River, and producing a sustainable forage for the horses who will eventually live at the park.

A Riding Academy is planned for the future, providing children the opportunity to learn about horses and participate in riding lessons.
