What is SPARC at the Creek?
The SPARC program at Wilson's Creek provides a comprehensive before & after school recreational opportunity for the students of Wilson's Creek by offering a variety of clubs, sports, and enrichment activities throughout the year. Our programs strive to be a fun and encouraging atmosphere for the participants and to help them develop physical attributes, sportsmanship, teamwork, problem-solving skills, and healthy emotions.
SPARC Before School
Our before school program provides an opportunity for its participants to get a head start on the day. The program provides:
Program Hours: 7:00 AM - 8:15 AM, M-F
Cost: $10 a week
SPARC After School
SPARC's after school program provides a fun and safe environment for students to continue to learn and grow beyond school hours. The program provides:

Snack Time: A healthy after school snack and 100% Juice are provide

Social Time: A chance for friends to catch up, talk about their day, and unwind.

Games & Activities: Everyday students are given a choice between our featured club or a physical activity. Throughout the year we offer a multitude of educational clubs and instructional sport programs ranging from photography to Ultimate Frisbee.

Homework Time: We give the students a chance to work on any homework from the day, study for any tests, or ask the staff for any specific help with an assignment.

Special Events: Every 6 weeks we host a special event such as a field trip, pizza party, or cookout!
Program Hours: 3:30 PM - 6:00 AM, M-F

SPARC Clubs
SPARC offers various educational clubs and instructional sport programs throughout the year. Our clubs offer a great way for students to learn something new, meet new friends, and have some fun.
Upcoming Clubs: September 13th - October 21st

Journalism: Students will get hands on experience into the exciting world of newspaper production, photojournalism, and other mediums.

Volleyball Club: Join SPARC as we learn and practice basic and advanced strategies of the Volleyball.

Ultimate Frisbee: A new sport that is sweeping across the nation comes to Wilson's Creek. The club will taught by a professional player with assistance from the current Missouri State University Ultimate team.
- Green Team: Have some fun saving the planet in this club which will focus on volunteer efforts and other "green" endeavors.
