Learn to Skate

Learn to Skate brochure Mediacom Ice Park Learn to Skate program is designed to meet the needs of both recreational and competitive skaters. These programs allow skaters to advance at their own pace. In order to create a better learning environment skaters are grouped according to age and skill level. Class size is limited.

 

The session includes one 30-minute lesson per week, free skate rental, and one free public sessions per week. Participants will also receive a U.S. Figure Skating basic skills membership badge, and certificate. Beginner classes are for individuals who have no previous skating, Snowplow Sam 1 and Basic 1. Intermediate through advanced classes are for students who have completed the beginner level, Snowplow Sam 2- Basic 2 and up.

 

 

 

Figure Skating Freestyle Session

Freestyle sessions are for figure skaters who want to practice their skills and/or programs without being confined to one area of the ice. These sessions are also great for the skater who is ready to move on from the Learn To Skate program to more advanced skating levels. Figure skating coaches are also available for lessons on Freestyle session.
