Giboney Cave Tours


Explore the myths, facts, and history of Doling Park’s Gi-boney Cave. Shoes will get muddy on Walking Tours, and cavers will get very muddy and wet on the in-depth Tunnel Tours. Participants encouraged to bring their own head-lamp or flashlight. Tours subject to cancellation, due to bats and weather.

Bass Pro Outdoor Days

Drive down to Table Rock Lake for some fun on the water with Outdoor Initiatives, and stick around for one of the best outdoor events in the area. Try out kayaking, canoeing, or stand up paddle boarding. Boats are limited, and will be provided on a first come first serve basis. Ritter Springs Camping Trip

Join Outdoor Initiatives for a fun overnight campout at beautiful Ritter Springs Park. Includes kayaking, catch & release fish-ing, hiking, and more. Dutch Oven dinner provided Saturday evening. Some equipment available on a first come first serve basis. Scholarships may be available to youth 18 years and under who meet the income requirements.

Buffalo River Paddling


Join us on our last overnight paddling trip of the year as we paddle 19.6 miles on the Buffalo River from Mt. Hersey to Bakers Ford. Enjoy the last few weeks of warm weather while paddling on one of Arkansas's most scenic rivers. Transportation and boat included. Major gear available for rent. Ozark Highlands Trail Backpacking


Rated as one of the top-ten hiking trails In the U.S., the OHT offers 165 miles of trail through beautiful Ozark hardwood and pine forests. For this excursion, we will backpack 14 miles from Haw Creek Falls Recreation area to Chancel Trailhead in the Hurricane Creek Wilderness Area. This is a moderate-to-strenuous level trip, so physical fitness is a must. Transportation included. Major gear available for rent. Gear lists and meal planning help are available.

This exclusive tour includes a full day of caving adventure in the Springfield area, consisting of a hiking tour that highlights the caves of Ritter Springs Park, a walking tour through Giboney Cave in Doling Park, and a boat tour through Sequiota Cave in Sequiota Park. Indian Rock House Hike


Take a step back in time as we hike to the Indian Rock House, which was used by Native Americans as shelter years ago. This beautiful cave is located in the rolling hills of Arkansas. The total distance covered will be 3 miles, on moderate trail. Participants will need to bring water, snacks, and a lunch.
