Learn to Skate
Fun, group skating instruction taught in eight weeks session, includes eight free public sessions passes. $12 annual USFS Basic Skills membership required.
Mediacom Ice Park Learn to Skate program is designed to meet the needs of both recreational and competitive skaters. These programs allow skaters to advance at their own pace. In order to create a better learning environment skaters are grouped according to age and skill level. Class size is limited.
The session includes 1, 30 - minute lesson per week, free skate rental, and 1 free public session per week. Participants will also receive a U.S. Figure Skating basic skills membership badge and certificate.

- Beginner classes are for individuals who have no previous skating, Snowplow Sam 1 and Basic 1.
- Intermediate through advancedclasses are for students who have completed the beginner level, Snowplow Sam 2 - Basic 2 and up.

Figure Skating Freestyle Session
Designed for figure skaters to practice and receive private instruction. Great for meeting other skaters.
Freestyle sessions are for figure skaters who want to practice their skills and / or programs without being confined to 1 area of the ice. These sessions are also great for the skater who is ready to move on from the Learn To Skate program to more advanced skating levels. Figure skating coaches are also available for lessons on Freestyle session.

Figure Skating Camp
A fun camp atmosphere introduces all areas of basic skills skating: Snowplow Sam through Senior Freeskate. Includes on- and off-ice training. Mediacom Ice Park 874-2928
Age: 4 yrs. And up Date: June 5-July 21 (No camp the week of July 4) Time: Mon.-Thurs., 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Fee: $300/Summer or $75/Week
